Yay such great fun having another fun cozy video to watch from ya Christy. I myself have been slacking a bit on the reading aspect as well recently. MY fave book i have read in recent years as of 2018 would have to go to ready player one. Such a great fun scifi book plus movie adaptation was also really well done. Been having issues finding a good fun read ever since though lately. I'm more into sci-fi and fantasy themed adventures as well as historical fantasy depending on the topics.

omg i totally get you on the commercial sounding magical story/ narration. i did read The Midnight Library and to me the whole seemed a tad too didactic. kund of how a whimsy sounding self-help book goes about.

Really curious to see what you think of The Gracekeepers. I read a short story by Kirsy Logan that I adored so after you mentioned you were planning on reading it I had quite high hopes. Unfortunately, it was not for me. I coincidentally picked up Rebecca at a second hand book fair recently although it might be a while before I get to it because, similarly to you I am also having a bit of a slower reading pace lately. It's kind of nice to know it happens to other people too. I'm hopeful it will pick up again soon. Thank you for another lovely video!

The Remains Of The Day is such a great book. I’d also really recommend A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro if you haven’t read it already- it’s so moving and it’s one I always come back to ❤

Hi Christy, I have not commented before, but I want to say how much I appreciate your videos. I do not normally listen to vlogs but yours are amazingly beautiful and interesting. I particularly like how you present Adelaide. Well done! I live in Southern Adelaide, so I appreciate how you present various parts of Adelaide like the coffee shops, the Hills and the Botanic gardens. It is nice to hear and see a little bit of our world warmly shown on the internet. For example, this has been a funny Autumn, so can appreciate how you would go out to see a tree and find it is not showing its autumn colour as you expected. Best wishes for Project Tea Cup. I hope your literary agent likes the edits you have made and that you will find a publisher soon.

My heart leapt when I saw Paddington on your shelf. I adore Paddington. I think Paddington deserves a spot not half-hidden. Thanks for the content warning for Chai Time at the Cinnamon Gardens. I admit I was sucked in by the cover too, and it's currently on my shelf but I haven't read it yet. I agree about the tone of The Midnight Library. I found the messages to feel rather spoon-fed. I hope you're enjoying your time with Emily Dickinson! She's one of my favourite poets. I have the tome that is her full collected works which I made my way slowly through over the course of a year. I highly recommend the tv series Dickinson - it's beautifully filmed, it's queer, it's quirky, it's funny.

What about Russian literature? Specifically Fyodor Dostoevsky. I would love to hear your review on his books or book.

As an socially awkward extrovert, I also got bullied in high school and because of that I became reserved. Still I wanna meet ppl but I'm awkward. I only talk to some selective ppl. But, even though I'm awkward I don't struggle with eye contact. I think socially awkward extroverts can overcome this by practicing. Now I'm improving my social skills and being myself and that old and real me😃.
